The 140 Amp Dual Battery Kit enables two batteries to charge at the same time. Once the engine’s running and the main battery hits 13.4 volts the Ironman component kicks into action and the two batteries charge simultaneously.

Once the voltage falls below 12.8 volts, such as when the engine is off, the Ironman relay module shuts off and each battery becomes isolated. The dual battery monitor which is part of the kit displays the voltage level of each battery.

The beauty of this kit is that it removes the possibility of running down the starting battery, so long as you connect your accessories to the auxiliary battery.
